故事開始於316 No Rest For The Wicked 之後，完全不同於第四季的劇情發展，有奮戰到底的Dean、悲憤堅決的Sam、強悍刻薄的Ruby、卑鄙無恥的Bela，當然，還有我們最親愛的uncle Bobby。

Dean下了地獄，Sam利用現代科技保存Dean的軀殼，並尋求遠古魔法救出他的靈魂。

Ruby也下了地獄，這位金髮前女巫不遠不近的跟著Dean，不時伸出援手(當然少不了一頓尖酸刻薄)；她沮喪的發現，想要不喜歡Dean，是很困難的....

Bela也出現了，被牛頭馬面拖著走，一路哀鳴。而Dean，雖然從不自認是正人君子，但有些原則是下了地獄也不會變的。沒錯，他出手救了Bela，就在地獄裡。

"如果我不這麼做，有一部份的我就已經被地獄奪走了．這麼做不是為了她，而是為了我自已．"

Bela與Ruby簡直就是水火不容。

Dean watched, as the two women stared at each other.

If he hadn't been sure he was in hell, he sure as hell was now. He had a feeling, however, that this brand of punishment had little to do with the deal to save Sam. This part of the punishment was all his, for all his little misdeeds with women.

"Just kill me now," he muttered under his breath.

老實說，這比真正的第四季好看多了，沒有任何一個角色走樣，有崩潰但絕不軟弱，有強硬但絕非為了力量，很適合對第四季失望的同學閱讀。
